Who this is for

This page is the website opt-in for two separate, optional Black Chalice LLC staff SMS programs. Recipients are limited to Black Chalice staff: the CEO, employees, contractors, and developers.

Operational alerts: notices about the company phone answering system, including notes from calls you record with the company's AI notetaker.
Internal app testing messages: test texts sent by applications Black Chalice is building, so staff can check them on real devices before release.

Callers and the public do not receive SMS under this program and do not opt in through this page. Calling Black Chalice does not enroll anyone in text messaging.

How staff opt in

Opt-in method: website form at https://blackchalice.org/sms-consent. Staff enter their mobile phone number, name, and @BlackChalice.org work email, review the disclosures, and check the box for each program they want. Each program has its own box, unchecked by default. Submitting the form sends a verification link to that work email. Consent is not active - and no texts are sent, including to the CEO - until that link is opened. Consent is not a condition of employment or of receiving other Black Chalice services.

Check each program you want. Both are optional. Once you confirm from the emailed link, these choices replace any you made before. Revoking needs only the phone number.

Operational alerts: I agree to receive automated operational text messages from Black Chalice LLC about the company phone answering system, including alerts that someone called, asked about a project, left a collaboration inquiry, or left a general message, and notes from calls you record with the company's AI notetaker. After opt-in

Opted-in staff may receive infrequent one-way transactional alerts when someone calls the Black Chalice phone line, requests project information, leaves a collaboration inquiry, or leaves a general message. Sample format: “Black Chalice: Hi, this is Morticia Scytheman. Someone just called Black Chalice from [phone number]. BlackChalice.org Reply STOP to opt out.”

Staff opted in to internal app testing messages may receive test texts from apps under development. Sample format: “Black Chalice Dev Test: Your appointment is confirmed for Tue 3:00 PM. Reply STOP to opt out.”

Recipients may reply STOP to cancel, or HELP for help, where supported, or email Contact@BlackChalice.org.

Mobile numbers

Black Chalice LLC does not sell, rent, or share mobile phone numbers collected for these staff programs with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies with call volume and testing activity and is expected to remain low.
