Staff SMS Consent

This page documents how Black Chalice LLC obtains consent for internal operational SMS alerts related to the company phone answering system. Recipients are limited to Black Chalice staff: the CEO, employees, and developers who work on that system.

Callers and the public do not receive SMS under this program and do not opt in through this page. Calling Black Chalice does not enroll anyone in text messaging.

Opt-in method: Other / administrative written consent (not a public customer signup, keyword text-in, or website form for callers).

Before a staff mobile number is enabled for alerts, Black Chalice shows or emails the consent language below. The person must reply YES or otherwise confirm in writing that they agree. Only after that written confirmation is the number configured to receive alerts. Consent is optional and is not a condition of employment or of receiving other Black Chalice services.

I agree to receive automated operational text messages from Black Chalice LLC about the company phone answering system, including alerts that someone called, asked about a project, left a collaboration inquiry, or left a general message. Message frequency varies with call volume and is typically low (usually fewer than 10 messages per day). Message and data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help. Reply STOP to opt out. Opted-in staff may receive infrequent one-way transactional alerts when someone calls the Black Chalice phone line, requests project information, leaves a collaboration inquiry, or leaves a general message. Sample format: “Black Chalice: Hi, this is Morticia Scytheman. Someone just called Black Chalice from [phone number]. blackchalice.org Reply STOP to opt out.”

Black Chalice LLC does not sell, rent, or share mobile phone numbers collected for these internal alerts with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies with call volume and is expected to remain low.
